NBA Tips and Predictions: February 28 – March 6

Summary

Fresh off the All-Star break, the NBA is back and ready for action. At this point of the year, we are at about two-thirds done, and teams are feeling excited to head into the postseason. Some teams, although, are looking towards the post-season with anxiety and wondering if their season will turn around. As the final push is commencing, players need to pick it up, and realize they are playing for their playoff lives in the process. Shots will be hard to make during this time, and those who come clutch will be greatly rewarded.

March 1st – Atlanta Hawks versus Boston Celtics

Trae Young and company will travel to TD Ameritrade arena, the home of the hottest team in the NBA, the Boston Celtics. Trae and his squad are currently in a position to make a run into a more comfortable seed to make the playoffs, however, they need to immediately start winning. Their roster is basically fully healthy at this point, and they have no excuses to not give it their all in this final portion of the season. The “Upvote Factory” will be loud and proud supporting their hawks in what should be a high-powered affair.

The Boston Celtics are the hottest team in the NBA, and are now looking to take a top four seed in the East, after a rocky start to the 2021-2022 season. Jayson Tatum is now firing on all cylinders, however, his team doesn’t even need him to carry that huge load at this point. The whole Celtics roster is on a hot streak, and their team-play is finally picking up. What once was a bunch of individuals playing hero ball, looks like a cohesive unit with massive talent.

March 4th – Milwaukee Bucks versus Chicago Bulls

The Eastern Conference is a gauntlet filled with teams that are playing supreme basketball at the moment. Milwaukee is getting its key players back, and they are finally getting gameplay to balance the chemistry out on such a deep roster. They will have a battle when they visit Chicago on Friday, and will need to play insane defense to stop the great DeMar DeRozan.

Lavine and DeRozan are a combo made in heaven, and this Chicago team believes that the sky’s the limit. Can they defend home court in a battle against the reigning NBA champions? Only time will tell.
