T20 World Cup - Australia vs England - England to win @ 1.97
Blake
One of the oldest rivalries in Cricket is renewed in just a few hours at the hallowed MCG with Australia taking on England in a crucial group stage match.
Australia had a more than shaky start going down to New Zealand in their first match before overcoming a scare to overhaul Sri Lanka last time out.
England were denied a chance to beat Ireland when losing via the Duckworth-Lewis System just a few days ago at this ground.
If all of that sounds like absolute nonsense to you then never fear, the main point here is that England have the fire power to either post or chase a big score here.
Combine that with the fact they'll be desperate to bounce back here and it's somewhat surprising they go into this match as outsiders. 2 units
A-League - Central Coast Mariners v Western United - 1x2 Western United @ 2.70
Brad
The champions Western United are yet to record a win in the new season, but a trip to Gosford in Round 4 looks their best chance to rectify that.
Central Coast have a draw and a loss next to their name for Season 2022/23 after having their first game of the season postponed due to a rain-damaged pitch.
They were very disappointing in their opening home match last week, going down in a shock 2-1 loss to Perth Glory.
Western recorded their first point of the season in Round 3 with a 1-1 draw against Macarthur in a game that was played in heavy rain.
Central Coast Stadium hasn’t been the fortress it once was for the Mariners having lost two of their last four at home.
Things haven’t quite clicked up front for the Champions yet, but things could change in this one against a Mariners side that has conceded four goals in two games.
We’re going to back Western to claim their first win of the season and get their title defence back on track. 2 units
English Premier League - Brighton v Chelsea - 1x2 Chelsea @ 2.50
Dom Rae
Graham Potter returns to his old stomping ground for the first time this weekend with his Chelsea side in solid form.
The Blues are unbeaten since Potter took over and were unlucky not to secure three points against Manchester United last weekend.
Brighton on the other hand are yet to taste victory under new coach Roberto De Zerbi, picking up just one point in five matches and in danger of letting their promising start slip away.
All of Chelsea's top four rivals face winnable games this weekend and they will know victory is crucial as the season heads towards the World Cup break.
Their manager also knows how his former side are likely to set up and that makes the visitors an eye catching price for this game at the Amex. 1 unit
Bundesliga - RB Leipzig vs Bayer Leverkusen - 1x2 & Total - Leipzig & Over 2.5 @ 2.28
Caelum
Both sides are coming off mid-week Champions League fixtures. Leipzig took down Real Madrid and have given themselves a strong chance of qualifying for the round of 16, while Leverkusen somehow held Atletico Madrid to a 2-2 draw in Spain after a dramatic finish that saw a missed penalty after full time.
Coming back to Germany to face one of the in-form teams in Europe away from home, Leverkusen will go in underdogs with one less day of rest and a much poorer record in the league.
They're only one spot off the relegation playoff spot after only two wins in their first 11 league fixtures.
Xabi Alonso has come in and breathed some life into the squad as their new manager, but Leipzig are arguably as big of a test as Atletico were mid-week.
Unbeaten in their last eight in all competitions and full of confidence after beating the reigning champions of Europe, it's hard to see Leverkusen getting a result out of this one.
Something else to consider is that both teams are very strong when going forward.
The over 2.5 goals market has hit for all Leipzig and Leverkusen since October 12 and despite Leverkusen's lack of fortune in the league, they can pose a threat.
However, they have conceded the third most goals in the league thus far.
Leipzig are decent value at 1.83 at the time of writing to just get the three points, but we're not here to play it safe. 3 units
English Premier League - Fulham FC vs Everton FC - 1x2 Everton FC @ 3.05
Matt R
Fulham will host Everton at Craven Cottage on Saturday in the Premier League.
Fulham have impressed everyone, whilst Everton have neither been good nor bad - although much better than last season and are currently on the up with a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace earlier this week.
Everton sit really deep defensively which is going to result in a lot of corners and Everton don't mind conceding corners as they're really good defending them with Onana, Calvert-Lewin, Tarkowski and Coady.
Everton have conceded the most corners in the league with 94, but they have only conceded 1 goal from them.
Fulham are super attacking and are also naïve in this respect which leaves space for Everton's wingers to run aggressive fast break counter attacks from failed corner attempts.
I don't expect Everton to be holding a large amount of the possession but with the run out of the defensive half, expect quick clearances and a higher percentage of shots on target for the Toffees resulting in the win on the road. 4 units
CS:GO IEM Road to Rio - Mouz vs Outsiders - Winner Outsiders @ 1.80
Alex
The first match to start the IEM Rio Major will see Mouz take on Outsiders in a Bo1 format.
Both teams just recently faced off at ESL Challenger Rotterdam, with Outsiders taking victory in 2-1 fashion.
Based on this, I'll be taking Outsiders to win, who look the more solid team at the moment.
Their last match saw them beating ENCE in 2-0 fashion.
While this matchup is a Bo1 format, I have confidence Outsiders will take victory here. 1 unit
League of Legends World Championship Semi Finals - JD Gaming vs T1 - Correct Score T1 3-1 @ 4.40
Ben
T1 vs JDG will be a pleasure to watch for LOL fans, we have China's strongest team vs Korea's beloved T1, led by Faker the Unkillable Demon King!
The top lane sees a clash between JDG's 369 and T1's Zeus who have both been stellar top carries at worlds this year, this should be an even matchup.
Mid lane sees T1 Faker giving it his all in potentially his last ever appearance at Worlds, if he performs above expectation then the team will follow!
Expecting a close back and fourth series, but if T1 can start strong and secure a game early they should carry that confidence into a series victory.
This could be the year of T1 and Faker cementing himself as the most legendary League of Legends player of all time. T1 Fighting! 2 units
NBA - San Antonio Spurs vs Chicago Bulls - San Antonio +5.5 @1.84
Tangy
We’re into the second weekend of the new NBA season and Coach Pop and Co have heard all the chatter about ‘Tank for Wembanyana’!
But nonetheless the Spurs find themselves 3-2 after 5 games and book a home matchup against the Bulls ahead.
This young squad knows no better, expect them to play hard and keep this game close as Chicago themselves almost found themselves victim to a back door cover last time out against Indiana.
Spurs to cover 5.5! 2 units
NFL - New Orleans Saints v Las Vegas Raiders - Asian Total over 50.5 @ 2.02
George
Another week, another four-unit fun NFL play from yours truly.
This time we target the much-anticipated clash between the Saints and Raiders that has all the makings of an absolute score-fest in Louisiana!
On one side you have a New Orleans side whose defence was completely dismantled by a flawless rush attack and an offence who endured two pick-sixes at the hands of cameo QB Andy Dalton.
This week we expect Jameis Winston to come back under centre… Yes, the same Jameis Winston who can not only put up 400 passing yards and 3 TDs, but also throw a two or three interceptions himself.
If you think Eno Benjamin was a handful for the Saints’ rush defence, then they will need to pray as much as they can before facing Josh Jacobs who can be argued as being the most in-form running back in the entire league.
If they can somehow manage to stop him, then the next person they will need to stop is Davante Adams whose only weakness at this point is sideline cameramen.
Not much else needs to be said about the Raiders of Las Vegas.
The three-headed scoring monster of Carr-Adams-Jacobs is enough for this game to scream overs, not to mention they currently have a defence that’s conceding 25 points per game so far this season which ranks them 26th in the competition.
It’s slightly better than New Orleans’ average of 28.6, so there’s that.
This game is going to be a lot of fun, and one that many fantasy football owners will be glued to this Sunday afternoon.
This line is basically hoping for eight touchdowns and a field goal, and can see this line being hit as early as the third quarter. 4 units
