Caelum - 9 de febrero de 2022
The European Footballing world has been nothing but entertaining to say the least, in the past six months or so.
Whether it be your typical media melt down from a manager on a reeling team, or the retirements and breaking of records by legends, every football fan has had something to feel for this season.
The Champions League has finished their group stages finally, and the playoff round is now underway.
After the draw was created, we will watch eight matches that determine the Quarterfinal spots.
Delving into four of the top matches, will hopefully give bettors an idea of what the action will be going down like!
PSG vs Real Madrid
What’s the next best thing after Ronaldo versus Messi? Messi versus Real Madrid.
The long-time rivalry between man and club is once again here in the drawing of playoffs.
UEFA could not have written a better script, and both these teams will be eager to prove their worth and ability in the top club space.
PSG has all the makings to beat you down with goals, but it has not been happening.
Messi goes out in a tough round of 16 matchup.
Inter Milan has had a great season up to this point, but the same can be said about their opponents in England, the Liverpool Reds.
Both of these teams are insanely offensively oriented, and there figures to be less defence than usual over both legs.
There is definitely a world where this could turn out boring and false, but that is unlikely.
In one of the most entertaining draw matchups fans could possibly ask for, Inter will be looking to break through in European play, with a tough dance against former European champions, Liverpool.

Atletico Madrid vs Man United
Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid are one of the most disciplined and well-coached squads in the whole world.
However, when it comes to scoring big and when it’s needed, they are not known for their ability in the category.
We are seeing a new Manchester United with Ronaldo and Ralf Ragnick, but only time will tell if these moves were right in the long run.
One thing we do know, is that Simeone will come game planned and prepared to take on the challenge of the English red devils.
Atletico Madrid will get it done, although it will be tough.

Benfica vs Ajax
In the battle between powerhouses of their respective countries, (Portugal and Netherlands) we see a possible high-scoring affair across both legs, that will have fans at the edge of their seats.
Sebastian Haller has been excellent for Ajax since the transfer from West Ham, and they are looking to be rejuvenated in their quest to repeat the 2019 magic.
