Brasileiro Serie A - Fluminense FC vs Corinthians SP 1x2 - Draw @ $3.15

  • Nick

With an eye on playing Boca Juniors in their return Copa Libertadores leg a few days later, Corinthians could be forgiven for taking things a little easy this match, but at the same time will want to keep up the pace with league leaders Palmeiras.

Fluminense meanwhile have found some form in the past month, and haven’t conceded a goal in their last 3 league matches.

Both teams have been very efficient in defence this season from their 14 matches - Fluminense have conceded 14 goals, while Corinthians have conceded 10 - and similarly won’t want to give an inch in this game either.

No team having an obvious claim for this match, so a draw feels the value bet. 1 unit

Wimbledon Men Singles - Nick Kyrgios v Stefanos Tsitsipas - Winner Stefanos Tsitsipas @ 2.13

  • CBod

A blockbuster third round where the World No.40, Kyrgios, is favourite against the World No.5, Tsitsipas.

The reason is their head-to-head record being 3-1 to the Aussie, incl. a 2R, 3 set win, two weeks ago at Halle - Kyrgios eventually was a losing finalist - we know he’s good form.

But since this loss, the Greek has won his last six - winning the title in Mallorca. The impressive stat is winning 14/17 sets, incl. 5/6 in the 2x Bo5 in 1st two rounds at Wimbledon.

With the likelihood this goes >3 sets, the chances of Kyrgios becoming disengaged and distracted increases.

He could be using the fine he received for spitting at the end of his 1R match after a fan altercation as motivation, but the media aren’t leaving it alone.

The purist Wimbledon attendees will also not forget so expect the boos - could it be adding fuel to a fire?

Either way, Tsitsipas is a French Open finalist, Aus Open semi-finalist and 9 titles incl. 2x Masters - at 23yo he is competing at the highest level, he will not get swept up in the antics, if they start.

Kyrgios is unpredictable and he’s undoubtedly got the talent to beat the World No.5. I personally cheer him on to reach the potential he clearly possess because he is great to watch.

But to have him favourite in a 5 Set match over an equally talented, level-headed professional, seems wrong. 2 units

CSGO - IEM Cologne - Mibr vs Movistar Riders Winner: Mibr @ 1.95

  • Alex

While these teams have only faced off once before with Movistar Riders winning 2-0 at Katowice in February, both teams look relatively even in form and skill.

Considering this match is a Bo1 format, the map will be a huge factor. This looks very much like a 50/50 contest. With the overtime promo included, Mibr at 1.95 seems like a good price. 1 unit

UFC 276 - Sean Strickland Vs Alex Pereira Strickland to win @ 1.91

  • Blake

There's a lot of hype on this weekends UFC card as we head into International Fight Week in Las Vegas with two belts on the line in the co-main and the main events. And while most of the focus will rightly be on the Volk/Max trilogy and the Adesanya Vs Cannonier clash, we have a most intriguing number one contender fight in the middleweight division. Alex Pereira has been shot out of a cannon by the UFC media machine with two wins over Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya in kickboxing contests however the MMA freshman is still learning his craft in the octagon. Strickland on the other hand is a now seasoned veteran. Don't be fooled by the persona outside of the cage, he's a methodically assassin when the bell rings. This should be a back and forth contest but Strickland has the jab and pace to control much of this contest so he looks a great bet this weekend. 1 unit

With their recent marquee signing of Insigne, Toronto FC and their fans will be sparking with excitement in this next match.

The signing of Insigne not only means an elite addition to their squad, but also a much needed attention magnet into their league and club.

CFL - Hamilton Tiger-Cats vs. Edmonton Elks Total - Over 46.5 points @ 1.92

  • Nathan

HAVE YOU SEEN THE SIZE OF THE ENDZONE!! This matchup screams overs and we’ll jump straight into why.

The last three Hamilton home games have found themselves in some hot shoot outs, as well as the last 4 H2Hs betweens these two teams.

On the Elks side, they just can’t keep the opposition out with 5 of their last 6 losses surpassing the 50 point mark. Load up here let’s kick off July with a W!!  3 units

NRL - New Zealand Warriors v West Tigers - Winning Margin New Zealand by 8-14 @ 4.20

  • Brad

After an exciting round of Representative Rugby League, headlined by New South Wales’ crushing defeat of Queensland in State of Origin 2, club football is back this weekend with the resumption of the NRL.

And we’ve got a big round to look forward to with a couple of rivalry matches in Manly v Melbourne and North Queensland v Brisbane.

We’re heading across the Tasman for our tip this week as New Zealand set to play their first match on home soil since 2019 in what will be an emotional homecoming.

The Warriors couldn’t ask for a better dance partner for their homecoming than a struggling Wests Tigers outfit still looking for their first win under new coach Brett Kimmorley.

With a packed out Mt Smart Stadium and a fired up playing squad, it’s simply impossible to go past the Warriors in this one.

We’d love to back NZ by a big margin but we just don’t think they have the points in them to rack up a big win.The 8-14 margin is looking most attractive in this one. 1 unit

CFL - Montreal Alouettes @ Saskatechewan Roughriders - Montreal Alouettes +3.5 @ 1.93-

  • George

Funnily enough, both teams played each other last week, with the score being 37-13 in favour of Montreal thanks to a fine all-round defensive performance and a terrific contribution from their special teams unit.

The Roughriders come into this return leg contest a little banged up with injury clouds hanging over Dan Clark (OL) and Shaq Evans (WR), two important pieces in Saskatchewan's offense who will be sorely missed.

This line provides alot of value, and incorrectly placed when considering the true form of both teams, especially considering Montreal lost each their first two games of the season by a field goal.

Last week's line was at +3, so being gifted the additional half point in a game that is criminally overvalued in favour of Saskatchewan is generous for CFL bettors.

I'll back veteran QB Trevor Harris to produce another efficient display and play a bit of clock management to wear down the Roughriders' defense. 2 units

ATP Halle - Hubert Hurkacz v Felix Auger-Aliassime Total Games Over 23.5 @ 1.92

  • Dom Rae

An exciting quarter final match up looms in Halle as Felix Auger-Aliassime takes on Hubert Hurkacz with the winner likely to be facing off against Nick Kyrgios in the semi final.

Hurkacz is the outsider in this contest but burst onto the global stage with a straight sets victory over Roger Federer at Wimbledon last year so this surface is clearly to his liking.

The powerful Pole knocked out reigning champion Ugo Humbert in his previous match and will come into this with plenty of confidence.

Canadian Auger-Aliassime is having a fine year, winning his first ATP title recently, and is worthy favourite for this.

He took eventual champion Rafael Nadal to five sets at the French Open and actually beat Hurkacz in the first round of this tournament last year, but there remains a nagging doubt about him on this surface and he surprisingly lost to world 106 Tim van Rijthoven in the semi finals of the Libema Open last week.

Both players will fancy their chances here and will be looking to gain some confidence ahead of Wimbledon, so we can expect a tight match and a play on the overs in total games looks a sensible play. 1 unit

Wimbledon Men's Singles - Ugo Humbert vs David Goffin - Winner - David Goffin @ 1.69

  • Caelum

Belgian veteran Goffin has had a straight forward start to his Wimbledon campaign, despite the quality of his opponents.

It's no mean feat to beat Radu Albot and Sebastian Baez in straight sets, but he has done just that and has set up a third round match with Ugo Humbert of France, also unseeded.

112th in the men's singles rankings, Humbert will also be coming off the back of a three set losing effort in the men's doubles with fellow countryman Adrian Mannarino.

On a shorter break and after a five set win in the first round, a four set upset against third seed and French Open runner-up Casper Ruud, he will be facing an uphill battle to keep his Wimbledon run alive.

Goffin's baseline-style of play will test Humbert's endurance over the course of the match and the longer it goes on, the more likely we see Goffin coming out on top.

Humbert will need to start strong and feed off the adrenaline if he is to have any chance of getting into the fourth round.

With the bracket extremely favourable to this side of the draw, now that the aforementioned Ruud has been eliminated, there is a lot on the line here and Goffin, who has never made it past the quarter final of a Grand Slam, should see this is a great opportunity.

Especially against an opponent who has already played twice the amount of sets at the All England Club. 2 units

MLB - Colorado Rockies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks - Winner (incl. Extra Innings) - Colorado Rockies @ 1.83

  • Jonah

Once again, we look towards an MLB fixture where the prices are relatively even - and we're taking the home team to get a rousing victory.

The Rockies are not a great baseball team overall - they hold the worst record in the NL West division at .434 - however, they're 21-20 at home this season. Coors Field, with it's altitude and propensity for high scoring, is an exciting venue for fans to watch baseball... but it's also a nightmare for visiting pitchers, who are a chance to give up runs in bulk.

The Diamondbacks are only just above the Rockies results wise, with a .447 record in the same division.

They hold a 15-20 record in road games this season - against the Rockies sound record at home, this spells trouble.

Their expected starting pitcher - Merrill Kelly - has given up 7, 5 and 8 hits in his past three outings before being pulled from the mound, and we expect the batter-friendly environment in Colorado to cause problems for Kelly and the DBacks. 1 unit

F1 British Grand Prix 2022 - 1st Practice Winner - Leclerc, Charles @ 2.50

  • David

Equipped with a fresh power unit which saw him take grid penalties in Canada, Charles will be eager to put in some laps and try to test out his new car and this should equate to fast times in first Practice.

Worthy to note he’s set the fastest time on 1st Practice 5 out of 9 times so far this year and on the times that he doesn’t, he usually came in second. I think 2.50 might be too long a price here. 3 units
