Major League Cricket 2024 Format and Schedule
The current MLC format features a league stage, with 15 matches played between the 6 teams taking part. After this initial stage, a 4-game playoff begins with the top 2 teams progressing to play in a qualifier while the 3rd and 4th placed teams play in an eliminator.
The loser of the qualifier then plays the winner of the eliminator, and the winner of this challenger game plays the winner of the qualifier in the final to determine the champions.
As it’s T20 cricket, each team have a single innings containing just 20 overs. Just as in the T20 World Cup , innings lasts around 70 minutes, helping to make the sport more fast-paced and better suited to spectators.
Games are held at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Grand Prairie, Texas and Church Street Park in Morrisville, North Carolina.

The defending champions, MI New York are looking like the favorites to retain the Championship. Despite winning their first game by 6 wickets, they narrowly lost their next match by 4 runs. Key players Trent Boult, Ehsan Adil and Rashid Khan will be vital for their success.
San Francisco Unicorns
