2024/25 Premier League Schedule & Results
Every season, the twenty top sides in English soccer compete in the EPL. Each team plays 38 games in total, one home and one away, against every other club in the league. Teams earn three points for a win, one point for a draw, and none for a loss. Points are tallied up and used to determine league position, with the top side crowned champions of English soccer at the end of the season.

Some of the biggest games of the season have already taken place, but there are still plenty of exciting fixtures remaining. Here are a few of the most significant results in the title race so far:
Manchester City 2 - 2 Arsenal
Arsenal came from a goal down to lead 2-1 before half time in this clash between the 2 favorites to win the Premier League. However, two yellow cards for Trossard left Arsenal with 10 men at the Ethiad and with a full second half still to play. Although Arsenal held on. City scored a late equalizer in the last minute of injury time.
Manchester United 0 - 3 Liverpool
Manchester United fans have had a season to forget, which was summed up by this loss at Old Trafford in September. Liverpool, the biggest competitive rivals of the Red Devils, thoroughly thrashed them, with 2 goals before half time due to mistakes from Casemiro before Mohamed Salah sealed the win with his 12th goal in 15 appearances.
Arsenal 2 - 2 Liverpool
Arsenal were without their key defender Saliba and also suffered injuries to Timber and Gabriel, but they found themselves 2-1 up at half time against their rivals in the title race. Despite their defensive efforts, Arsenal conceded late on thanks to a strike from Salah.
Manchester City 0 - 4 Tottenham Hotspur
City had won 4 titles in a row but their season came unstuck here as they were demolished by Spurs. This match came as part of 4 successive league defeats for Guardiola’s team and a winless run of 7 games in all competitions for the defending champions.
Newcastle United 3 - 3 Liverpool
Liverpool dropped points at Newcastle, although they came from behind twice before going ahead in the game with just 7 minutes to go. A win would have maintained a 9-point lead at the top of the table for the Reds, but an equalizer from Schar meant the points were shared.
Arsenal 2 - 2 Aston Villa
Arsenal appeared to close the gap on leaders Liverpool as they went 2 goals up at home to Aston Villa. However, the North London side let their lead slip in the 2nd half. Although fans on the ground were celebrating in the last minute of the game, Kai Havertz’s late winner was ruled out for handball.
Liverpool 2 - 2 Manchester United
Under the leadership of their new manager Ruben Amorim, Manchester United showed the spirit and desire that fans say has been lacking in recent seasons. After going ahead in the 2nd half, United were pegged back thanks to goals from Gakpo and Salah. However, they got the equalizer through Diallo in the 80th minute.
Nottingham Forest 7 - 0 Brighton & Hove Albion
Nottingham Forest have been in excellent form this season although they lost 5-0 in the match before this one. They turned their form around to record the biggest win of the season so far, putting 7 goals past the Seagulls.
Arsenal 5 - 1 Manchester City
Arsenal closed the gap on title rivals Liverpool to just 6 points as they thrashed defending champions City at home. Odegaard opened the scoring for the Gunners in the opening 2 minutes but Haaland fired back after half time. The City equalizer seemed to wake Arsenal up, who scored just a minute later before putting 3 more in the away team’s net.

While most experts predicted another title race between Manchester City and Arsenal, City have fallen out of the race completely, and it’s all between Liverpool and Arsenal. Can Arsenal win their first Premier League title in more than 10 years? Or will Liverpool manage to hold onto their lead and lift the trophy for the 2nd time in their history?
Who Will Win the EPL? Picks to Win
Liverpool - Liverpool are massive favorites to win the title race and are currently 13 points ahead of their closest rivals, Arsenal. Under the management of Arne Slot, Liverpool have looked revitalized, and Mohamed Salah is in the form of his life. Their +40 goal difference is significantly better than any other team in the league and they’ve only lost one game.
Arsenal - Arsenal were expected to be out in front considering the drop off in the form of rivals Manchester City. However, Liverpool have just been too good. The Gunners have dropped points in winnable games due to red cards and finding it difficult to break down opposition defences. They’ve also suffered injuries to key players such as Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz. It’s extremely unlikely for them to catch Liverpool at this point in the season.
Which Teams will be Relegated?
While the title race might be a foregone conclusion, the battle for relegation is still on. There are not a lot of points separating the bottom teams, and they’re all in danger of playing in the Championship next season:
Southampton - Southampton only have 9 points from 27 games so far and are almost guaranteed to be relegated. Based on their performances, they were given just a 0.7% chance of staying up in January.
Leicester City - Leicester are also favorites to be relegated based on their points and current form. They’ve won just 4 games all season and have a tough run of fixtures remaining.
Ipswich Town - Ipswich are level on points with Leicester, and although they’ve had some bright moments this season, they’re also likely to face the drop. However, a good run of form could still turn things around.
Wolverhampton Wanderers - Wolves have looked like a side struggling for ideas this season and are currently only 5 points from safety. If the bottom teams can reverse their fortunes, they could end up relegated.
