Elite Sports Betting Tips: April 29
Serie A - AC Milan vs Fiorentina - 1x2 & Total - AC Milan & Over 2.5 goals @ $2.34
Nick
AC Milan will be motivated to keep their position at the top of the Serie A table, especially since their cross-town rivals Inter Milan are close behind, with a superior goal difference.
Fiorentina will still be reeling from 3 losses on the trot, including a shock 4-0 loss to Udinese mid-week.
While they still have Europa League spots to play for, I don't think they'll pick themselves up in time for this match.
Last time these two sides met, Fiorentina had an entertaining 4-3 win. We're backing goals as well as a hometeam win, with Giroud to lead from the front, and Ibrahimovic to pinch hit. 2 units
NBA - Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks - Winner & Total (Incl. Overtime) - Boston Celtics & Under 218.5 @2.85
David
We go to the Eastern Conference Quarter Finals where we’ll see the first game between the two powerhouses.
Both teams success are basically built on their defense which just makes sense to bet the unders.
I’m also taking the Celtics to win mainly because the Bucks will be missing their three-time all-star Khris Middleton which is a huge blow for them. 1 unit
English Championship – Blackburn Rovers - AFC Bou rnemouth - 1x2 Bournemouth @ 2.43
CBod
Blackburn managed to keep their slim hopes of a Playoff spot alive after a midweek win, however this was to a tapped out, nothing to play for, Preston.
And Blackburn’s league position is nothing but self-sabotage with the said win being their 1st in 6 and 2nd in 10 - the other win against relegated Derby.
This has led to their long serving manager, Tony Mowbray - 5 years is long by 2022 Football/Soccer standards - to all but say he will be leaving after this season in a quite powerful, emotional interview.
Surely his players are in a similar, dejected mood knowing they’ve blown it for themselves and their gaffer.
Furthermore, if the Rovers believe the club have not engaged in contract talks, as Mowbray suggested, the Ewood Park atmosphere could be very toxic against the owners - something we’ve come to expect over the last 10+ years, which Mowbray somewhat quelled.
The Cherries need to fend off a Nottingham Forest charge for the 2nd automatic playoff spot. And on the face of it they’re treading water with 1 win in 4.
But having a deeper look, I suspect they’ll be confident of a result.
Their last outing in midweek demonstrated they’re up for the battle after coming from 3-0 down in the 70th minute away to Swansea to grab a 90th minute draw - this will feel like a win.
Prior to Swansea, the 1-1 draw with the leagues best team (by some distance according to the data), Fulham, is a good result.
And further back an impressive 3-0 away win at Coventry - a team 2 spots and 3 points behind Blackburn.
Finally, their away record (P22, W11, D5, L5) is only bettered by the aforementioned Fulham. That 50% away win-rate makes the 2.43 tempting, without all the context… 1 unit
CS:GO Blast Premier Spring Showdown - Heroic vs ENCE - Total maps: Over 2.5 @ 1.92
Alex
Heading into the semi finals, Heroic look in great form, now on a 4 match win streak, taking down top teams such as Navi, Fnatic and Forze.
While Ence's past few performances haven't been as impressive, they are still right up there.
Considering this matchup is between #4 and #5 in world rankings, not much separate the two sides.
Last time these two faced off was last year at the Pro League with Heroic narrowly winning in the 3rd map (16:14). Expecting this match to reach a 3rd map. 2 unit
AFL - West Coast Eagles vs Richmond Tigers - Asian Handicap Richmond -2.5 points @ $1.64
Blake
Despite the fact Richmond have a litany of changes for this match as they head to the West, it's a crucial game in their quest to reignite an average start to season 2022. The fact is, they did a pretty good job to only go down to raging Premiership favourites Melbourne by 22 points last week and they get some handy inclusions this week. On the other side of the ledger West Coast have been ravaged by injury and Covid. They've been smashed by 63 and 84 points in the last two weeks and it's hard to see them turning this form around even on their home deck. In truth, Richmond should win this game handily but we're playing fairly conservatively and taking the -2.5 point Asian Handicap in the hopes that we don't have much to concern ourselves with after the first 15 minutes of this clash. 1 unit
English Premier League - Newcastle United vs Liverpool FC - Asian Handicap: Liverpool -1.0 @1.65
Matt
The race for the title is dead tight, with only 1 point difference between Liverpool & Man City with 5 games left in the season.
Liverpool have been in sensational form lately, having not lost a match all year so far, and being 1 point behind already, they can't afford to drop anymore points.
All respect to their opponents, Newcastle United, who have had an incredible turnaround in 2022.
After languishing at the bottom of the league, they have won 10 of their 15 league games in 2022 and have moved up to 9th on the ladder.
Newcastle are in great form, but Liverpool are on another level and I expect them to win this convincingly to continue piling pressure onto Man City. 1 unit

Good contest, Barça wins. 1 units
NBA - Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Memphis Grizzlies Under 228.5 Points @1.94
Nathan
With just the 1 game slate tomorrow, we look to what will be a fierce Game 6 in Minnesota between the Wolves and Grizz.
What we’ve seen this series is a lot of scoring runs..
Absolutely huge swings from both basketball sides, and so a pick’em line is probably justified.
Instead we’re going to target the total points and side with the unders that has gone 3/5 thus far this series.
From the opening of game totals as high as 240 from Games 1-3, we’re regrettably down to just under the 230 mark but with the favourable trends, we’re definitely happy to back it.
We’ve got the slower pace of playoff basketball, deeper into the series where you’d expect both teams to have adjusted and gameplan for one another and just overall nervousness of two young teams to stay alive and close out in Round 1 of the playoffs respectively. 3 units
NRL - New Zealand Warriors v Canberra Raiders - 1x2 & Total - NZ & Over 40.5 @ 3.90
Brad
Two teams coming off big losses here looking to bounce back and get their shaky seasons back on track.
New Zealand were humiliated against a rampaging Melbourne Storm last week in a 70-10 loss, the biggest defeat in the clubs history.
Canberra offered little resistance to reigning champs Penrith last weekend in a 36-6 road defeat where the premiers were hardly troubled all afternoon.
New Zealand have made the most of their temporary base of Redcliffe, having won their past three games at Dolphin Stadium.
The Warriors are the team in the better form, only sitting one game out of the top-eight.
Canberra on the other hand look to be in freefall having now lost four games on the bounce.
Last week showed both sides are very leaky in defense so plenty of points should be on here.
Both meetings between the teams last season produced over 40.5 points and both teams have seen over 40.5 points in two of their last three games. 2 units
La Liga - Real Madrid v Espanyol - Real Madrid -1.5 Asian Line @ 2.29
George
This Saturday will see the Spanish champions-in-waiting face off against the mid-table Catalan outfit.
Both these teams don’t really have anything to play for, as the Galacticos need one point to secure the La Liga title before focusing on a much bigger task at hand, and their opponents are safe from any potential relegation battle.
While many would see this as a trap game from a betting viewpoint, Real Madrid will come into this contest with a sense of frustration after their heartbreaking 4-3 UCL semi-final defeat to Man City at the Etihad this past Wednesday.
I expect them to take their anger out on Espanyol who have not had a great track record at the Bernebeau in recent times, failing to score a goal at the ground since 2014!
Furthermore, the Galacticos have won by two goals or more in six of their last eight contests against the Budgerigars at home.
There may be a worry that Carlo Ancelotti will be resting his best players to get them right for their return leg in the UCL, but this Real Madrid team depth is the most talented we’ve seen in quite some time at the club, and there is no doubt they will have the firepower to completely run over their opponents and officially clinch their 35th La Liga title in style.
For the correct score punters, I’m going 3-0 to the Galacticos and Vinicius Jr to score a goal (if he starts). 2 units
