F1 Tips and Predictions: 2022 Hungary Grand Prix
WOW! What a Grand Prix we have in prospect tonight after a drama-filled qualifying at the Hungaroring yesterday.
With Max Verstappen unable to get power on his final flying lap, it appeared as if Ferrari was all set for a front row lock out today.
Enter George Russell. The young Brit was able to manoeuvre his Mercedes around the first couple of sectors in a time 2 tenths quicker than the mark set by Ferrari before holding on to claim his first F1 pole position.
So with Verstappen starting P10, Sainz in P2 and Leclerc in P3, what to expect tonight?
Action aplenty is the short answer. More broadly the first lap is going to play a crucial role with Sainz potentially on the wrong side of the grid to maintain position into the first corner.
If Leclerc is able to get past his teammate early then he’ll surely make short work of Russell and be near impossible to beat if he can keep it between the white lines.
Verstappen may be starting from P10 but it won’t take long to pass most of those in his near vicinity so $2.80 about him to finish on the podium looks a really nice bet.
At a similar price K-Mag starts from P13 and has a car fast enough to get into the points at $2.65.
Finally, the winning margin to be between 5-10 seconds looks a nice area for it to fall given the mix up of the grid; at $2.85 that’s our final bet for the last race before the Summer Break.
Bets:
