Tennis Tips & Predictions: ATP Indian Wells 2023
Summary
Making up ground and finally heading into the golden swing, we will have a two-week long event that encompasses the best the tennis world has to offer.
The ATP Indian Wells masters will be the first of two US hard court events which the whole world will tune into.
Two weeks to see who will be victorious and gain a huge rankings boost, this tournament is only won by those who deserve it.
Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and many more have come before. This year will be monitoring the status of Novak and his entrance into the US.
There is still no clear certainty on whether or not he will be cleared to play, but his ability will be daunting for opponents.
This tournament is truly a fan favourite affair and will provide a ton of action.
This upcoming week’s matches on both the men’s and women’s side are going to be all open for you to bet on stake.com!

Players to Watch For
Taylor Fritz - Defending the Crown
Taylor Fritz is back to winning ways after a Delray Beach that proved to himself, he was still able to go out there and dominate a landscape.
A few months of shaky results had Fritz questioning his top five entrance, but the San Diegan is now in there with a vengeance.
Taylor will be trying to return home in Indian Wells and defend his crown that he won in 2022.
Beating Rafael Nadal and a whole plethora of other opponents, Fritz needs to defend at least up to the SF.
His points will severely drop off if he finds an early round exit to be true, so he will push for the best.
Fritz loves these conditions, and it can be considered his home tournament due to the SoCal nature of the two weeks.
His crowd support will be amplified, and he will be a very dangerous opponent to go up against all tournament long.
Rafael Nadal - Testing that Drive
Rafael Nadal is also defending some final points from last year, but his body has not held up to standard in 2023.
Nadal has done well to recover during these past few weeks, but he will be put up against the bright spotlights this week.
Nadal has done well on the IW conditions because he is able to dictate play with the heavy ball.
Not usual on many hard courts, Nadal definitely highlights this tournament in his schedule as a potential M1000 win.
The results will be harder to find as we get closer, though. Can this be the spark that ignites his season?
Carlos Alcaraz - Relinquishing Power
Carlitos is going to be a huge player to watch out for during IW 2023.
His past few weeks have been great, although he lost a title to Cameron Norrie at Rio due to a hammy injury.
Monitoring his hamstring and injury concerns could be something that draws headlines these next few weeks.
Carlos in semi-fit shape could absolutely demolish most anyone on the court, so we’ll have to see how he feels after the first few matches.
If everything goes to plan, though, he will be a firm favourite along with these other two gentlemen.
