Arsenal versus West Ham - Monday, December 26th
London will have a huge derby battle on their hands this Monday as the Gunners and their first-place position will be looking to stay on top against the West Ham Hammers.
Arsenal will be missing star signing Gabriel Jesus in this game, as his injury from the World Cup sees him out for an extended period of time.
The Gunners have been playing some pleasant football this season, with a bunch of quality wins over solid opponents.
Now is where the competition kicks up, though. Post-Christmas time is always an alarming time for most teams not named Manchester City.
The Gunners will need to get their second half campaign off running with a victory here against West Ham and if not, could see a spiralled downturn starting this Monday.
West Ham is looking to turn their season around in the second half and need a big result this Monday.
The Hammers have made their mark on the Prem in the past five years or so, with many great table results.
Their current standing, although is not great.
The squad is way too talented to remain in this position, and we are more than likely going to see a very different mentality after this international break.
Making use of the midfield dominance and attacking pace, West Ham and David Moyes will be itching to get back on the pitch and show their worth.
This is a trap game for Arsenal, and we can see some upsets going down.
Betting Prediction - West ham 1x2 and the over on asian goal total to hit in one of the great London Derbies!
Leeds United versus Manchester City - Wednesday, December 28th
Leeds and City lock in for a primetime matchup on Wednesday.
Leeds have been a recipient of goal concession problems in the past few months.
Their offense is more than ready to score goals on the other end, but their defensive woes have seen them fall down the hill in terms of projected standings.
They will be looking to at least draw a point out of this matchup, which seems highly unlikely.
Manchester City will finally be able to unleash Erling Haaland back into the goalscoring space, but also find the treasures of their star man coming back from Argentina, Julian Alvarez.
Look for this game to slam on the goals being scored, as well as City to control the pace and dictate.
Betting Prediction - Manchester City -2 goals and the over 3.5 asian total on goals scored for both teams.
