Los Angeles Kings versus New York Rangers - Tuesday, November 22nd

The LA Kings are a franchise looking for a spark in their organization.

So far this season, the team has played well in most aspects of the rink.

Sitting at the table with a record that boasts three wins over losses, the Kings have done well to stay in the hunt and remain a competitive team in a large pack.

Most of their efforts have been valiant, and they are staying in all of the games they participate in.

Largely due to their awesome goal-keeping play, the Kings have been able to rally behind their efforts and produce wins in tight games.

Defensive duties have been a bit shaky, but when your offense and goalie have your back, sometimes things are able to be excused.

The Kings can truly make the playoffs in a year of unknowns, and they have a tough test this week against the NYR.

The New York Rangers are more than hungry to make the ECF after they bowed out to the TB Lightning last time around.

Their team was touted as one to watch for this season and so far, they are playing at around their level, but not quite good enough.

Defensive stability has been something they were able to use to get past teams last season.

Goal-keeping ability with the great Igor Shesterskin is always on lock, but their offensive woes can be truly cold at times.

If the Rangers want to make another appearance on the big stage, later in the season, they need to be adaptable within their sets and consider picking up some more weapons.

Betting Prediction - Take the under on goals in this one as well as the LA Kings money line, this should be a great match overall!

Boston Bruins versus Carolina Hurricanes - Friday, November 25th

Boston is on absolute fire with no one seemingly able to stop them in the current state.

The Bruins is emerging as the potential number one seed in the Eastern Conference and possibly the whole NHL with sixteen wins and two losses to their name.

Everything is clicking in Boston and their rich hockey history is finally back on track.

They are showing the fruits of their veteran leadership and raw youngsters that have been picked up in the past few years.

Conversely, the Hurricanes will want to upset the Bruins desperately.

In a match between two teams on opposite sides of the world right now, things could get ugly.

Prediction - Bruins to keep rolling and also cover the Asian puck line of -1.5 versus the Hurricanes.
