UFC 276 Tips and Predictions

News Content

Dateline Las Vegas!!!!! It’s time for one of the most stacked cards in UFC history and it goes down this weekend.

The main card is headlined by Stake brand ambassador and arguably the biggest star in the mixed martial arts world, Israel Adesanya.

The co-main event will be crazy as the much-anticipated trilogy between Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway goes down.

A quick recap of last week's bets, we nearly cashed in that multi for you guys only missing ¼ picks. Although we did cash-in 2 plus money picks so hope you guys made some good cash.

UFC 276 is stacked from top to bottom, and we recommend tuning in right from the pre-prelims.

We're so pumped for this card and we're going to break down our badass Middleweight main event while hoping to cash in our multi this week, so let's get straight into it.

Israel Adesanya vs Jared Cannonier

The undisputed king of the middleweights is back to prove why he is one of the greatest to ever do it against one hungry challenger in The Killa Gorilla.

Israel Adesanya has solidified himself as one of the pound-for-pound best of all time, he is very close to setting history by crossing the great Anderson Silva's middleweight win streak.

The Last Stylebender has been on a different level cleaning out the best in his division and being dominant in his efforts.

His most notable wins have been against top middleweights like Robert Whittaker, Paulo Costa, Anderson Silva, and Marvin Vettori.

This week he comes against another tough challenge and a fifth title defense can end the debate for the greatest middleweight of all time.

The Killa Gorilla brings a different challenge to the table compared to some of the champ’s recent opponents.

Jared Cannonier has transitioned his career from Heavyweight to Light Heavyweight and now eventually Middleweight where he has found most success.

Cannonier has retained power from his Heavyweight days which helped him finish some top contenders like Anderson Silva, Jack Hermansson, and Derek Brunson.

He is a technical brawler with the ability to find his shots and put his opponent's lights out.

Cannonier will have his hands full this week though when he meets arguably the greatest striker in UFC history.

Best Bets

Our first best bet this weekend comes on an entertaining early prelim middleweight bout between Brad Tavares and Dricus Du Plessis.

The Middleweight division has been a bit stagnant but some interesting contenders are coming up and South Africa's Du Plessis is one of them.

We think this is great matchmaking as Dricus Du Plessis is very well-rounded and on a good run, we believe he will get a number next to his name after he takes out a veteran.

Our next bet is on a bantamweight main-card bout between Sugar Sean O'Malley and Pedro Munhoz.

Sugar Sean is the truth and although this is a big step-up in competition, we think he will rise to the occasion and take out a tough veteran by decision.

Our next best bet is on the much-anticipated trilogy between Alexander 'The Great' Volkanovski and Max 'Blessed' Holloway.

The last fight between these two was razor close and since then they both have taken out 2 tough contenders.

We think this fight will be like their second bout and both will put up a close fight. Ultimately, we believe the best is blessed baby and this weekend we’re getting #AndNew.

Our final bet this weekend comes on our main event of the evening.

Although Jared is a great fighter, we think he has nothing for the champ, and this will be a one-sided affair.

Israel is a smart fighter who never forces a finish, but we think if this one plays out on the feet for 5 rounds, the champ can find a highlight this weekend.
