Two Belts are on the line, and we've got another people's main event kind of a fight in Michael Chandler vs Tony Ferguson.

Charles Oliveira vs Justin Gaethje

When a bonus machine challenger meets the champ who has the most finishes in the UFC’s history, that calls for nothing less than fireworks.

Justin "The Highlight" Gaethje is back for his second shot at undisputed UFC gold, but he is chasing the unbreakable champion of the Lightweights, Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira.

Charles Oliveira has had the most impressive career resurgence in the UFC by making a comeback from a 10-8 UFC career to winning 10 fights in a row with nine finishes which saw him capture & defend undisputed gold.

Oliveira is believed to be the best BJJ practitioner the UFC has ever seen; he is the slickest submission artist who has submitted 20 preys in his 40-fight MMA career.

The champion has faced and beaten some of the absolute best in the business in Dustin Poirier, Michael Chandler, and Tony Ferguson.

Oliveira has great knees, excellent boxing technique, and the best submissive ground game in the business.

He will look to defend his belt for the second time, but it will be the human highlight who will try to stop him in his tracks to greatness.

Justin Gaethje is hands down the most entertaining fighter in the UFC, he has a fan-favorite mentality of making a highlight or becoming one which has won him the heart & respect of the fight fans.

Despite his dog mentality, Gaethje is very technical in his own right having worked on his fight IQ and cardio which makes him a championship-level fighter now.

Gaethje entered the UFC as an undefeated talent and he put up a war to remember against then Rank 5, Michael Johnson and made a statement that he was here to be the best.

The highlight faced some adversity on his journey but made a comeback with a 4 fight knockout streak finishing top names in Tony Ferguson, Donald Cerrone, Edson Barboza, and James Vick.

Gaethje has had more bonuses than fights in the promotion so we can assume that he will look to make another highlight when he steps into the Octagon this weekend.

The pathway to victory for the champ is to back Gaethje up by pressuring him through knees, takedown attempts, and jabs. Oliveira will look to damage Gaethje's body like he did against Poirier and patiently put him away by Round 3 or 4.

Although Justin Gaethje's clearest pathway to victory is landing a bomb on Oliveira as we have seen the champ get hurt in his last few fights and if Gaethje lands clean, he can end the night very early.

Best Bets

Our first best bet comes on our explosive Welterweight prelim headliner between Randy Brown & Khaos Williams.

This fight will be competitive but looking at the stats we are leaning towards the underdog in this one, Brown holds the reach advantage, striking accuracy, and diversity in the attack.

We think Brown has more pathways to victory, although he can get caught with one punch, we recommend backing the more skilled fighter at a dog price here.

Our next bet comes on the people’s main event between Michael Chandler and Tony Ferguson.

It is a no-brainer that we are siding with the heavy favorite here, but the method of victory is where our interest lies.

Although Tony is not the same fighter anymore, his durability is still the same.

If the hardest puncher Justin Gaethje could not knock down Tony in five rounds and if the best BJJ artist Charles Oliveira could not submit him in three rounds, then we believe Tony can survive the onslaught from Chandler and lose on the scorecards like his last two outings.

Our final best bet comes on the much-anticipated main event of the evening.

Justin Gaethje brings a legit threat to the party with his knockout acumen, but we strongly believe that the champ’s will is on another level.

Oliveira has a more diverse striking game, better cardio, and the absolute neutralizer on the mat with his elite submission game, so we recommend backing the champ to unlock his 2nd title defense.
