Superliga Volleyball - Minas vs Sada Cruzeiro - Total Points - Over 182.5 @ $1.85
Nick
The Brazilian Superliga season will come to an exciting conclusion on Sunday night.
The playoffs (best of 3) has already delivered two classic matches, the unfancied Minas clinching the last match 18-16 in the final set, with the return of Brazilian star Leandro Vissotto proving inspiring for Minas.
Hard to pick a winner in this decider, but one thing for sure is that we’ll see another close game. Total points - overs seems a safe bet, with very little to seperate these teams.
Look out for Miguel Angel Lopez, a Cuban player who plays outside hitter for Sada Cruzeiro. He was awarded MVP in last year FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship and this occasion will suit him perfectly. 1.5 units
Formula 1 - Miami Grand Prix 2022 - Qualification Winning Constructor - Red Bull Racing @1.89
David
The race track for the Miami Grand Prix will have three long straights. Probably the most similar track would be the Saudi Arabian GP which comprised of long flat-out corners which are essentially a straight line to these high downforce racing cars.
Which car won qualifying and that race?
Specifically which 2022 car has the best straight line speed again?
Yes, Red Bull Racing. All drivers or even team principals can attest to that.
I expect nothing less from Red Bull to have the same level of performance on a similar track this qualifying session on Saturday. 2 units
European Rugby Champions Cup – Leicester FC Tigers - Leinster - Winning Margin Leinster By 1-7 @ 3.5
CBod
A great looking tie in the quarter-finals which run on a one off knockout basis.
Leicester, top of Gallagher Premiership meet Leinster, top of the United Rugby Championship .
Leicester have won 18 of 22 league games this season and beat strong French side Clermont in both leagues of the last sixteen.
Back to a one-off game they have home advantage with a very rowdy crowd behind them and are unbeaten at home for nearly a year.
Leinster are the strongest Irish province with tremendous strength in depth derived from an exceptional academy system and provide the majority of the Ireland national team.
They beat Connacht in both legs of the last sixteen and have also only lost four games in their league this season.
Their first choice 23 has had several weeks rest whilst rest of squad has been playing URC games in South Africa.
Leinster and this squad in particular have a great pedigree in the competition having won it in 2018 and reached the semi-finals last year.
That immeasurable knockout game experience may be the difference against a Leicester squad just beginning to compete at this level again after several years in the doldrums.
A slight difference, which for me, points to a narrow Leinster win at a juicy price. 1 unit
CS:GO PGL Major - Bad News Eagles vs Eternal Fire Winner: Eternal Fire @ 1.92
Alex
An interesting matchup with both teams facing off in this BO1 . Bad News Bears recently just came off a narrow loss to Nip, losing in overtime in the Blast Premier Quarter Finals, while Eternal Fire have come from two solid wins against OG and Fnatic.
Considering this is a BO1, anything can happen with the map pick being a huge factor. Taking Eternal Fire to win this one. 1 unit
UFC 274 - Rose Namajunas vs Carla Esparza - Asian Total 4.5 Rounds (under) @ $2.36
Blake
It's a big week for Stake.com with our UFC partnership going to the next level for this weekends Pay Per View event and what a card we have in the offing. Two title fights, a barn burner between Chandler and Ferguson plus a whole lot more to give us real bang for buck this weekend. We're hoping that fresh off the back of fellow Elite Tipster ‘Matt’ jagging the FTGTD result for Chandler/Ferguson, we can claim a ‘running double’ with the first of two title fights. Some might not realise but Rose Namajunas and Carla Esparza have already faced each other in the octagon when the latter tapped the former in the Ultimate Fighter 20 finale way back in 2014. But we have a different fight in prospect some eight years later. Rose has taken her game to another level with devastating wins over both Joanna Jerdrezecjk and Weili Zhang both memorable moments. Her striking has has been ever evolving under the tutelage of master coach Trevor Wittman. She's proficient on the ground and has the all around game to turn the tables on the ‘cookie monster’. And she should be able to do it inside the distance. For that reason we’re ponying up on the under 4.5 rounds Asian Total at a juicy $2.36 for 2 units to kick May off with a bang. If this doesn't end early Thug Rose should still have the skills to wear on Esparza to the point where she finds a finish before 2:30 of the final round and if that's the case, it will be a good night for us. 2 units
UFC 274 - Michael Chandler vs Tony Ferguson - Will the fight go the distance Yes @2.60
Matt
One of the most anticipated fights of UFC 274 , we see's last years fight of the year winner Michael Chandler go up against El Cucuy.
I think the 2.60 for the fight to go the distance is fantastic value here.
In what should be an extremely exciting fight, i can't go past the fact that while i think Chandler should win, Tony Ferguson has never been stopped within 3 rounds.
That includes having taken some brutal beatings, such as from the hands of Justin Gaethje, and almost having his arm broken in the first round against Oliveira before still going the distance.
The man just loves pain and could not be more deserving of his nickname "El Cucuy" which translates to 'The Bogeyman'.
I see this one going to a decision and will take the 2.60 on offer here as value. 2 units

NBA - Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Memphis Grizzlies Under 228.5 Points @1.94
Nathan
Oh Manchester City… One of the favourites to dominate Europe… After their dramatic defeat in the Champions League vs Real Madrid, it is likely their morale is low but they must pick themselves back up and continue defending their position in the Premier League. A rejuvenated New Castle travels over to face them. Although far from relegation, the season is not over yet for Newcastle, they must secure as many points as possible. Man City however, are in a tight battle for the title, only 1 point separates them from 2nd Liverpool. After a disappointing defeat, they will be looking at a come back match, to lift their spirits and bring confidence back into the squad. But a brave Newcastle may be annoying to break down. Man City to win here and keep the score clean under 3.5 1 unit
NRL - Penrith Panthers v Parramatta Eels - Asian Handicap Parramatta 10.5 @ 2.07
Brad
It’s the battle of Sydney’s Golden West on Friday night as reigning champs Penrith welcome rivals Parramatta Eels to Panthers Stadium in what promises to be an entertaining derby.
The Panthers can do no wrong at the minute with eight straight wins to start the season as the only remaining undefeated side in the comp.
They were however somewhat sluggish last week against Gold Coast as they were held scoreless in the first half. They managed to turn it around in the second half and come home with a 18-4 win.
Parramatta put in their worst performance of the season last weekend with a 35-4 loss to North Queensland up in Darwin.
The controversial decision to move in-form five-eighth Dylan Brown to the centers last weekend backfired spectacularly, however we will return to the halves this weekend, much to the delight of Parra fans everywhere.
Parramatta managed to bounce back with wins after their two previous losses this season and we are tipping them to bounce back into form this week.
Brown back into his preferred position and the return of Tom Opacic from injury make Parra a much better side.
The $5 on offer for Parra to win outright looks tasty but Penrith at home are simply a different beast. They are now 21 games unbeaten on their home deck. 1 unit
English Premier League - Brentford v Southampton - ️ Over 2.5 goals @ 1.90
George
While both clubs are still not mathematically safe from relegation, they have surpassed the crucial '40-point' benchmark and look to both stay in England’s top flight in 2023; because of this, we may see quite an open and fun contest between the Bees and Saints to unofficially celebrate their survival.
These two mid-table teams boast some sound offensive firepower, with Brentford including the prolific Ivan Toney (12 goals) and the creative Christian Eriksen, while Southampton have arguably the best set-piece specialist in the country in James Ward-Prowse, as well as the ever-dangerous Che Adams.
Brentford have been defensively stubborn at home as of late, conceding 0 goals in their last 3 games at the Community Stadium against the likes of West Ham, Tottenham and Burnley; on the other side, the Saints have leaked goals on the road with a total of 10 in their last 5 away games.
While both of these stats contradict each other, it’s their previous meeting at St Mary’s Stadium in January that could indicate another goal-fest as the match ended in a 4-1 win Southampton’s way.
I’m thinking this contest will go towards the same trajectory, anticipating that the game will open up after an early goal which will throw any hint of a bus-parking out the window for either team.
I’m predicting a 3-1 scoreline Brentford’s way to even the ledger after their heavy defeat earlier this year, and will go Bryan Mbeumo for anytime goalscorer (Stake bet-builder odds of $34.83). 2 units
English Premier League - Burnley v Aston Villa - 1x2 Burnley @ 3.00
Dom Rae
Journalists and pundits alike lazily lambasted Burnley's decision to part company with Sean Dyche a few weeks ago, and quite frankly they've been left with egg on their faces.
Caretaker manager Mike Jackson has turned the ship around and the Clarets now carry odds of 3.25 to be relegated, despite being odds on when Dyche left. Burnley have a new lease of life and are defying the odds and pressure that goes with being in a relegation scrap, and surely know that two wins from their remaining games will see them safe for another year.
This game is one of the ones they will have pencilled in and it is a huge surprise to see them at odds like this given their current form.
Aston Villa have only picked up one win from their last six games, and seem to have headed on their summer holidays early, so backing the home side to take another leap towards the promised land of Premier League football next season is the play here. 1 unit
