To get teams back into the swing of things, matchday/round nine will be a jump starter for another month full of gruelling matches.

The schedule has not been exactly favourable for any team in the league and as European competition also resumes, there will be some definite adjustments that managers need to make.

Roster depth is going to be questioned more and more as the season progresses, with October being the first real true test of how deep the waters go.

Manchester City versus Manchester United - Sunday, October 2nd, 2022

The Manchester Derby will finally be played this Sunday in a test of two surging sides within the same city.

A bit of invigoration needs to be injected into Chelsea, similarly to Palace.

Under Graham Potter, their new manager, they hope to find some consistency within the midfield play as well as an ability to score some goals.
