Analysis

Cleveland Guardians versus New York Yankees - Wednesday, April 12th

The Cleveland Guardians and New York Yankees face each other once again for an opportunity to gain upper ground within the AL in the beginning part of the season.

These two teams faced each other in the American League divisional series last year, and it was a great series.

The Cleveland Guardians are looking to build upon what was an unexpected year for them, with more and more wins.

This squad has disciplined players all around and a ton of able defensive gloves which makes for a great recipe to success.

Pitching is not their strongest suit, but they have players like Shane Bieber who have been able to put the team on their back when necessary.

Jose Ramirez and Steven Kwan look to build upon great 2022 years which they were both perennial all stars who are starting to creep up into the top fifty players rankings.

They will be more than able to beat the Yankees who come to test their own skills this week.

Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees are set to go into Cleveland try to avenge a game one loss that ached a little harder after having a two-run lead to start off.

Nonetheless, the Yankees are looking to remain in the elite of the baseball status quo with more consistent performances around the lesser able pitchers of their staff.

Gerritt Cole has been truly insane to start off this season, but the Yankees need more starters who are capable of holding leads and not giving up runs.

Prediction - Cleveland Guardians ML and the under on runs scored.

Toronto Blue Jays versus Tampa Bay Rays - Friday, April 14th

The AL East heats up for another battle between divisional rivals this Friday in Toronto.

Both of these teams have had relatively hot starts to the season, but the Rays seem to be on another level in terms of clutch hitting and consistency to start the season off.

Without a doubt, there will be a ton of wood thrown in this match and possibly a few fights and bench-clears as well.

Making the right plays in this series will be huge, and there will need to be a cut down on errors from both sides to clinch a series victory.

Prediction - Rays moneyline and the over on total runs scored.
