Game 1 - Memphis Grizzlies @ Golden State Warriors - Game 4 - Monday, May 9th, 2022
Memphis is going to feel low on energy after a demoralizing game where absolutely nothing could be done to stop the hot shooting and rhythm of the Golden State Warriors.
Memphis has a very tough task and defends their series hopes this Monday, at Golden State, down one game to two.
After a hot shooting start in the first quarter, the Grizzlies let go of the lead and never looked back in.
Bad defense and quality offensive looks go hand in hand when you’re playing a team like the Warriors and Memphis paid for it in full.
Golden State has to be pumped about their chances of moving on after a dazzling performance in which Steph Curry and Jordan Poole along with five other teammates all helped contribute double digit performances.
A valid way to defend the home court, the Warriors are going to be massive favorites to win this series now, having an opportunity to go three games to one up.
If the Warriors tighten up on turnovers, and shoot worse than tonight, they’ll still win this game. Limiting mistakes needs to be something Kerr is going through pre-game and will show here.
Prediction - Golden State Warriors -7.5 in a blowout game with the 3-1 lead on the line.
Game 2 - Philadelphia 76ers @ Miami Heat G5 - Tuesday, May 10th, 2022
Philadelphia is going to feel confident about their offense now that Joel Embiid and his overall presence on the court is back.
James Harden has not been the superstar he once was, but this should free up his game and allow him to get some offensive rhythm back.
Creating turnovers and defence need to be the key for Philly heading forward, if they want to make this series one to remember.
Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat did not play particularly well in game three of this series, but should feel confident after playing some great defense.
Their offense struggled massively, and if only a few more shots fell their way, it could have been a three to love lead.
Miami at home will be very tough to beat, and the 76ers will need to be playing a near perfect game to match both ends’ intensity on the floor.
Timely stops and turnovers will fuel this team once again to a possible series stranglehold, and win.
Prediction - Miami Heat money line, they will be too focused on the defensive end and finally get their offense going.
