UFC Fight Night: Kara-France vs Albazi

News Content

What's up, fight fans? We are back with another Fight Night breakdown.

Life is not fun without UFC weekends, so we are excited to have some fights again after a week off.

We've got a great card lined up this weekend which will set us up for the stacked PPV next week, so let's get into it!!

Kai Kara-France vs Amir Albazi

The UFC Flyweight division has gone from nearly being cut to now being one of the most exciting divisions in the UFC.

The Quadrilogy between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno is finally over, and this has paved the way for more contenders to rise.

We've got an exciting main event this weekend between rank 3 and 7 which will clear the title picture further.

Kai Kara-France has been an integral part of the 125-pound division since The Ultimate Fighter Season 24.

Since then, Kai has had a successful journey in the UFC beating the likes of Cody Garbrandt, Askar Askarov, and Rogerio Bontorin while competing for Interim Gold.

Kai is an incredible striker with great takedown defence having trained with the successful City Kickboxing team.

His journey to the belt was stopped by the current champ but he is back to regain momentum this weekend against a tough contender in Amir Albazi.

Amir "The Prince" Albazi has had a quick rise to the top through a 4-0 UFC career which has seen him defeat contenders like Malcolm Gordon and Francisco Figueiredo.

He has faced difficulty in finding dance partners given his suffocating grappling style but this weekend he has found one.

This is a great striker vs grappler matchup and the last time Kai faced an elite grappler he showed up and made it a fun fight.

We think this could be like his Askarov fight where he will stuff a lot of the takedowns and force the grappler to strike which will be exciting to watch.

Best Bets

Our first bet this week comes on our co-main event between Alex Caceres and Daniel Pineda.

Out of his 28 wins, Pineda has never seen the judge's scorecards as he always wears his heart on his sleeve.

We have seen Alex Caceres display his finishing acumen when his opponents bring the fight, and we think that will be the case this weekend.

We'll take the under 1.5 rounds at some nice odds in a fight that reeks of violence.

Our final pick this weekend comes on the main event.

We think this will be a great fight and an incredibly close one to call.

Amir Albazi is stepping up a lot in competition, but his skill set warrants a main-event spot.

We'll take over 3.5 rounds here in a fight involving two high-level combatants.
