Summary
The 2022 MLB Season has taken shape with various teams proving their worth on the field, day in and day out.
We have a better, clearer picture on who has a chance to do some damage until the later stages, but also have some sleepers who have not hit the power button just yet.
Consistency is the key in MLB, and this early in the season teams are still trying to find their groove to rack up wins and take series.
Pitching has been a problem for many teams in these first stages of the new season, but it is completely understandable when you take a look at the different adjustments they’ve had to make.

Analysis
Game 1 - Atlanta Braves @ New York Mets - Monday, May 2nd, 2022
In a game of two contenders, the Atlanta Braves will be looking to make a statement against the red-hot New York Mets.
The reigning and defending World Series Champions, the Braves are known for their great offense, and clutch pitching.
This year, they have not gotten off to the best of starts, but we know there is plenty of time to bounce back.
This series will be a huge test for them, and truly prove how well they fare this upcoming year.
If the Braves bats work again, they are going to be right there against anyone else in the league.

With the current way things are looking, the Mets are going to be very strong in the NL and make a push to further their hopes of a World Series.
Health is a key component of this team’s success, and as long as they are healthy the sky's the limit.

Game 2 - Los Angeles Angels @ Boston Red Sox - Thursday, May 5th, 2022
The Angels and Red Sox are both teams looking to be on the fringe this year.
They both have solid lineups and great athletes, but they’re missing a firm presence to make sure they have a successful season.
Although the Angels have 2 former MVP’s on their team, it doesn’t look to be coming to fruition anytime soon.
The Red Sox have a chance to do some damage this year but will need to rely on their bats rather than pitching matchups, a key area they need to address before the trade deadline.
