This week's action continues at the Apex before we head to New York for the big show.

It’s not the best card but we’ll be tuning in to be surprised with some violence, so let’s get straight into this breakdown!!

Marina Rodriguez vs Amanda Lemos

Marina Rodriguez has been kicking the door for a title shot and she is back to strengthen her claim against a tough contender in Amanda Lemos this week.

Rodriguez has been on a tear riding a 4-fight win streak and headlining 2 UFC main events.

She has taken out multiple top 10 contenders like Mackenzie Dern, Michelle Waterson, and Yan Xiaonan on her tracks.

It would be tough to deny her a title shot if she can get a win this weekend, but she's got one of her toughest tests ahead of her in Amanda Lemos.

Lemos is one of the most entertaining fighters in the division given that she always pushes for a finish and sets a good pace.

She has won six of her last seven bouts beating good competition like Angela Hill and Michelle Waterson.

Lemos has finished 10 of her 12 career wins and if she pushes the pace, she can make this fight very competitive.

Best Bets

Our first bet this week comes on the main-event opener between Grant Dawson and Mark Madsen.

The Olympic medallist Madsen has seen great success in his short MMA career.

Dawson is the rightful favorite, but he has questionable fight IQ which has nearly cost him.

We think Madsen can out-grapple Dawson given his 40% take-down defense and at a near 3/1 price tag, we're backing the Olympian here.

Our next pick comes on our co-main event between ranked Welterweights Neil Magny and Daniel Rodriguez.

The odds have this one at a pick-em but we think Rodriguez has a solid 73% takedown defense along with his boxing credentials.

Rodriguez is very technical on the feet, and we think he can pick his shots and evade the grappling attempts from Magny.

Our final pick comes on the main event between Marina Rodriguez and Amanda Lemos.

Lemos is very dangerous early in the fight, but Rodriguez is technically sound and has 5 round experience.

We think Rodriguez will take over as the fight goes longer and can get a finish in the championship rounds if not a unanimous decision.
