UFC Fight Night: Lewis v Spivak

IT’S that time again as the powerhouse that is the Ultimate Fighting Championship takes centre stage.

It will be an APEX showdown between Derrick ‘The Black Beast’ Lewis and Sergey ‘Polar Bear’ Spivak.

Two of the more formidable nicknames on the roster will duke it out in a heavyweight bout.

Don’t tell Derrick Lewis that though, the rejuvenated veteran looks as fit as he ever has in his UFC career with much intrigue surrounding Saturday’s weigh-ins.

The fight itself promises to be a clash of styles with Lewis likely to stand and bang with the noted grappling ace Spivak.

It’s a style which Lewis has overcome in the past (think Curtis Blaydes or Aleksei Oleinik), but questions do surround just where he is at following a pair of losses in 2022.

With that said, we’re backing the Black Beast in to get the job done.

Look for some flying knees and extravagant kicks to punctuate this performance.

The Co-Main will see Da Un Jung take on Devin Clark at Light Heavyweight.

Jung has heavy hands and in a fight that’s expected to be contested mainly on the feet, betting the under looks the play here.

Marcin Tybura and Blagoy Ivanov promises to be one of the more fun fights on the main card but there will also be some highly rated up and comers on the undercard of the event which is slated for a later than usual start time.
