UFC Fight Night: Santos vs Hill

News Content

What’s up fight fans? We’re back with another classic fight night card.

UFC 277 was amazing, the fights lived up and made up for a memorable night.

We had a great go with our best bets cashing in 2 tickets for you with a huge @ 4.5 payout in Amanda Nunes by Decision.

We were so close to cashing our @$23.3 parlay as Kai Kara-France was looking great to become the new champion.

Anyway, we're back to the apex this week for a fun card headlined by heavy-hitting light-heavyweight and the finals of The Ultimate Fighter.

We'll be breaking down our explosive main event and picking some sharp action for you guys to lay that cash on. So, let's get straight into it!

Thiago Santos vs Jamahal Hill

We've got ourselves an action-packed main event lined up this week for 5 rounds between UFC veteran Thiago Santos who takes on the emerging force in Jamahal "Sweet Dreams" Hill.

Thiago Santos has been one of the most feared power punchers in the UFC in the past few years.

He has faced and knocked-out some elite competitors in Anthony Smith, Jimi Manuwa, and Jan Blachowicz.

Santos was on the rise until he lost a split decision to the goat Jon Jones and injured his knee.

He looked impressive in his main-event win against Johnny Walker and showed some good signs against a top prospect in Magomed Ankalaev.

This week Santos will be challenged by another emerging talent in rank 10 Jamahal Hill.

Hill has been impressive in his UFC run knocking out elite competition in OSP, Jimmy Crute, and Johnny Walker.

He faced a bump on the way when he took a loss to Paul Craig but has bounced back in style since and is on a mission to prove why he is the best.

We think this fight will play out on the feet for the majority and it will be interesting to see the experience & power of Santos going against the speed and technique of Hill.

Best Bets

We’ve never missed a chalky parlay so we’re going back to it this week with a 2 leg parlay of heavy favorites in Michal Oleksiejczuk and Jamahal Hill.

Polish Middleweight prospect Michal takes on “Smiling” Sam Alvey this week who is on an 8-fight beaten streak. As the odds suggest, it will be one-sided and Michal will cash in our first leg with ease.

For our second leg, we're picking Jamahal Hill to defeat the veteran Thiago Santos in our main event.

Hill is the younger, faster, and a more technical fighter. Except for landing a powerbomb, we do not see how Santos wins this fight, so we're backing Hill to cash in our chalky parlay.

Our next leg comes on the heavyweight main-card bout between Augusto Sakai and Sergey Spivak.

Both fighters are skilled but the wrestling credentials and momentum of Spivak shine bright in this matchup.

Sakai is on a 3-fight skid whereas, Spivak has won 4 of his last 5 bouts. We think Spivak will mix in the takedowns and get a TKO win inside 2 rounds.

Our final pick this weekend comes on our Women's flyweight TUF finale bout between Brogan Walker and Juliana Miller.

Brogan Walker has more MMA experience and beat the better level of competition on the show, so at a near-dog price we are backing her to become "The Ultimate Fighter".

Selection: Michal Oleksiejczuk + Jamahal Hill (Win market) @1.5

Selection: Sergey Spivak by Knockout (Win method) @2.5

Selection: Brogan Walker (Win market) @1.99

Selection: Parlay all Selections @7.45
