Wimbledon’s tournament has had its ups and downs this year, but it has just so happened to get back on track in the best of moments, and we have the QF draw ready to go.
Let’s get into some of the best matchups in the last eight, looking to be extremely spicy.
Match Betting Preview
Novak Djokovic versus Andrey Rublev - Tuesday, July 11th
Novak Djokovic has been the epitome of class and efficiency through the first week and a half of Wimbledon, and he enters another QF.
What seems to be the easiest thing in the world for the best of all time has been nothing short of spectacular, and even as he ages he becomes even craftier and better.
The Serbian has been playing at a high level since round one, and has done well with his center court moments.
He will be able to go into this matchup against Rublev with tons of confidence, even after dropping a set to Hubert Hurkacz in the fourth round.
Novak will be steady on his game and ready to pounce with any given opportunity.
Andrey Rublev will have the biggest test of his run so far against Novak in the QF, one that he will be less than amused for.
Beating Sascha Bublik in five tight sets was the match of the tournament so far, and there is no shortage of belief from the Russian #2.
Rublev like his fellow two counterparts (Medvedev and Safiullin) are in the QF’s and flying high.
He will need a gargantuan effort to win this one, but to keep it close would already be massively impressive for Andrey here.
Betting Prediction - Novak Djokovic in three sets that will catapult him into the semi finals.
Carlos Alcaraz versus Holger Rune - Wednesday, July 12th
Carlos Alcaraz has finally found some solid footing on the grass and heads into a matchup with one of his childhood rivals in Holger Rune.
His play has been dictating every match, and the level he’s at, is where you’re going to have to go.
He is the next best player on the surface besides Djokovic to this current moment, and we have to see him conquer another tough test in a path to a re-match.
Rune will be knowing all the tricks and turns that goes with the Spaniard, and will surely prepare some sort of counter.
These two are both of the sport’s elite youngsters and they are going to carry tennis for years to come.
Betting Prediction - Alcaraz to win, but over games and over sets.
