News Content

Summary

The NBA season is ticking down and we only have a couple more weeks to go before the highly anticipated NBA playoffs!

The play-in tournament looks to be as stacked as ever, with multiple teams having to go through the depths in order to just make the playoffs.

There are a ton of teams who are in danger of missing out, and these last few weeks will be imperative for them to get over the hump and get wins on the board.

Regardless of how they may come out, these might be the last few weeks of the NBA season for many teams, and that is sad to say.

We’ve had a great season up to this point and we should cherish these last handful of games while we can.

Stars of the league are trying to carry their teams out of the gutter and players like Stephen Curry and LeBron James are going to be hard-pressed to find any extra motivation than what is already at hand.

Defences are going to be tightened, offenses need to run crisp plays and the turnovers need to be kept at a minimal pace.

This week has a ton of banger matchups, especially cross-conference rivalries between some of the best in the NBA.

Let’s check out the matchups set out here on Stake.com’s sportsbook!

Match Betting Previews

Boston Celtics versus Sacramento Kings - Tuesday, March 21st

The Boston Celtics are heading into the playoffs as a top three seed in the East, something that they have been used to over the past decade or so.

The talent that runs through Boston is deep, and the NBA Finals runners-up are going to be more than motivated to make a deep run in the playoffs once again.

After tasting the Championship feel, but falling short, the Celtics need to reinvigorate their drive and find that second wind.

They have been inconsistent in these past few games, but there is a huge opportunity to test themselves here against a very hot Sacramento Kings team.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are still the dynamic duo that we are accustomed to seeing, but the defensive end has looked shaky in past weeks since the all-star break.

Will the Celtics break the deadlock and deliver a vintage performance?

De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings are lighting the beam towards their first playoffs appearance in years.

The city of Sacramento could not be happier for their squad and making the playoffs will finally set them off in happiness.

The addition of Damontas Sabonis and departure of Tyrese Haliburton is something that many frowned upon when it was first announced, but it has turned into one of the best moves of the offseason.

Mike Brown is leading this team with conviction, and they believe in him, every step of the way.

Prediction - Kings ML at home and the over on total points in this game.

Milwaukee Bucks versus Denver Nuggets - Saturday, March 25th

Two teams with their respective Conferences in check, the Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets head to a clash of MVP candidates this weekend.

Giannis and Jokic are two of the biggest stars in the league, and the European takeover is epitomized by these two dominant big men.

Doing everything on the court for their teams, this will be a showdown that many will tune in to watch go down.

Whether it’s Giannis running down the floor to make a chase-down block, or Nikola Jokic with a Magic Johnson-esque pass, there is a ton of flair to see here, and you will surely not want to miss this one.

Prediction - Nuggets money line and the under on total points.
