While he was KO’d by the current lightweight champion, Ilia Topuria, in his last fight, he had previously been on a 3-fight win streak that included KO wins over the Korean Zombie and Justin Gaethje. He’s currently a slight UFC betting favorite in this fight.
Poirier has already defeated Holloway the previous 2 times they faced off inside the octagon, though one of these was Holloway’s UFC debut and the other was his lightweight debut. It’s a full circle moment for the Diamond, who will be hoping to make 3 wins out of 3 as he ends his UFC career. He looked a little slow and hesitant, but he might have a much better performance now that he’s fighting a lower-ranked fighter in Ige. It could be a close one, but Ige should have the edge in terms of speed.

Gautier only has 1 fight in the UFC, so it might be a surprise to see him on the main card. However, his debut saw him land an impressive 1st round KO thanks to a perfectly timed knee. Before that, he had a stoppage win on the Contender Series and is now 7-1 in his professional career. What’s more, 86% of his wins have come by way of KO/TKO. He may be early in his career, but he could be one to watch for the future, and we expect the 23-year-old to get it done against his next opponent.
Valentin is another relative newcomer to the UFC, with just 2 fights in the promotion on his record. He formerly appeared on series 32 of the Ultimate Fighter, winning both his fights.
