We've got a stacked PPV card being headlined by the return of the great Jon "Bones" Jones.

There are some fantastic violent matchups on the card and it's a must-see event for fight fans.

We went 2/2 on our best bets last week and hope to carry the momentum into this week, so let's get into it.

Jon Jones vs Ciryl Gane

The pound-for-pound rankings have been a hot debate recently, but we’ve got a man who can put all the debate to rest with one memorable performance.

Enter: Jon Jones who is back to make his much-anticipated Heavyweight debut which will solidify him as the best to ever do it, but his journey goes through France’s top talent, Ciryl Gane.

Jon Jones holds every possible accolade in the sport including most title wins, defences, and being the youngest to hold UFC gold, etc.

He has done it all, but this is the last tick remaining on his legendary career's checklist.

Jones has beaten some of the best talents in UFC history like Lyoto Machida, Quinton Jackson, Daniel Cormier, and Mauricio Rua.

Although his opponent this weekend is no easy task as he is touted as one of the most athletically gifted Heavyweight in UFC history.

Ciryl Gane has proven to the world that his talent can help him overcome his lack of experience in the game.

Gane has had an impressive UFC run which has seen him hold interim gold while beating top talent like Derrick Lewis, Tai Tuivasa, and Alexander Volkov.

This is a great clash of styles match-up and is much more complex than just a grappler vs striker fight.

Jones is the more well-rounded fighter who can mix in the grappling and push the pace in the championship rounds.

Although Gane has the speed of a Light Heavyweight while having the power of a Heavyweight which gives him the power and striking advantage.

Best Bets

Our first best bet comes on a fun Middleweight fight between Bo Nickal & Jamie Pickett.

Bo was the most impressive talent to come out of Dana White's Contender Series and he's set up for a favorable debut match-up here.

Pickett is on a 2-fight skid and his last 3 losses have come via finish so we think Bo should make quick work on his debut.

Our next pick comes on our co-main event being fought for Women's Flyweight gold between Valentina Shevchenko and Alexa Grasso.

The odds have Alexa as a huge underdog, but we think stylistically she can give the champ some problems given her striking credentials and recently discovered submission prowess.

At over 2/1 odds, we'll pick this one to hit the scorecards as we think it will be a closer fight than the fans and odds suggest.

Our final pick is on our much-anticipated main event between Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane.

It's tough to pick against a man who has never lost and considering Gane got outwrestled in his last outing we see a clear pathway to victory.

We think Jones will implement a wrestling-heavy game plan which will be set up through his kicks and clinch work.

Jones should out grapple Gane to the scorecards or find a submission in the championship rounds.
